Smart DGT designed a simple, robust solution using 2N’s industry-leading 4G EasyGateIP GSM gateway that provides failure signal monitoring with email alerts via a 2N cloud application.
This is particularly valuable on freezer doors for monitoring the door close fault signal as it provides immediate alert and action can be taken before the door and drive are affected by ice and frost.
In addition, the gateway can be provided with an optional wall-mount phone for programmable, single-number dialling to the FM company or call-out centre allowing easy, free calling from the vicinity of doors & gates. The dialling is activated the moment the handset is picked up.
